HORRIBLE
Got into a huge car accident, have full coverage and they're so hard to reach and never return calls!!!!!!!! It's been 3 months now !! Highly disappointed

1 accident, many hours of phone call holds, and many unprofessional agents ago.
A horrible experience of having to leave multiple messages, having to submit documents and wait an eternity to get a reply back. It looks like I was not alone with this experience.
For anyone out there AAA, specifically the Burbank location was the best experience Ive had for car insurance and a plus they have a DMV side. Mr. Piric 818-562-8846 will take his time and explain all the coverage options. I really wanted to sue them. Got in a car accident and was the other party's fault. Tried to get a hold of Access to resolved the issue and no one gave a fxxk about me. No one returned my call or asked me questions, I had to deal with the other party alone. A bunch of scammer.

I've been trying to get a hold of my agent Ashley Hughes at the claims department and so finally she called and I couldn't believe how rude and disrespectful she was towards me, just because I wanted to know what was going on with my case, out of no where getting loud with me. I will never use this company again, this lady really made me feel shitty all day. cancelling 2 policies I have with them..

Sham insurance, this company is a total scam . I had full coverage, I was in an accident the accident was 100% the other persons fault , her insurance company took 100% liability, but due to the amount of damages they stated it would be best to go through my insurance company (access), Access asked for some documentation, I sent them all required documentation, I heard nothing from Access , I keep calling and calling no one returns my call , 30 plus days and nothing from Access , I'm currently in the process of getting an attorney to sue Access just so I can get my claim settled, AVOID access insurance it's a complete scam !

The number of fraudulent & unethical practices at Access is alarming. Literally screwed over in a third party claim, lied too, told I knew nothing about insurance and manipulated into sending the lowest estimate so they could prorate that. I don't understand how come there are all of these bad one star reviews. If you check in Yelp there are other reviews under Chris Lo-Access Insurance with much better reviews. In short I need to step in here because I was shopping around for a new business broker and personal one as well. After more than 12 years trusting my ex-insurance broker, I have been realizing that she wasn't giving me the best rates or services and deciding policies for me instead of presenting me with several differences choices, and often times coming back later to raise premiums. I had it! I think her tactic was to offer me a reasonable rates, and later one she would rise it up!!! Even if my business sales went down or we had less employees, I never saw any credits back from our insurance carriers. I badly needed to find someone new! So I decided to give Access a try. From the beginning my call was forwarded to Jeremy Young as he handles commercial insurance. He was very polite, took time to hear my concerns about our last shady agent and asked me questions to understand our business. He provided a quote in no time near Christmas as our policy was going to be due soon. We went back and forth several times and I made several revisions to the policy at different times. Every time I changed the coverage, Jeremy would email me back the new rate. I made so many changes and he never got upset or even had a hint or being "bothered". He even took care of me even when he was down with a flu. I didn't say "Yes" to him right away as I was also comparing rates with other insurance companies. In the end, the best policies and rates were with Access so I went back to Jeremy. Super professional! Annie his other team support person was super nice too. I showed up one day when they didn't know me in person at their Live Oak location and Annie was sweet and professional in spite of having showed up without any appointment. So the next thing in my bucket list was my personal home policy. Again, I compared their rates, and coverages against other agents, and they come in on top once again. I have no negative remarks to say about Access. Not sure if I just had good luck and ended up with Jeremy and Annie. As of now I am a fully satisfied customer.

If I could give zero stars I would. Like the other reviewer said, if you get into an accident with one of their insureds, hire an attorney. I was rear ended. It took them FIVE months to "complete the investigation". If I had not continued to call, they probably would have ignored my claim completely. Then they sent an "adjuster" to write the estimate for my trucks step bumper. They sent me a check for $357.00. The cheapest estimate I got was for $1250.00. The repairs ended up being over $2000.00. I got a rental car from enterprise because the Access agent handling my claim (Sandra Barnes) did nothing to assist me in this area. So I had to pay out of pocket. Had she told me the had a direct billing with Hertz I could have gone there since Hertz had a location walking distance from the repair shop.
Her supervisor (Matt) promised me that the refund check would be sent to me within 7 to 10 days of receiving the invoice. It's been three weeks. I called them and found out that they have not sent the check yet and are questioning the length of time and may not pay the full amount.
I may have to take them to court after all.
This company is a disgrace to the insurance industry.

Access sucks! There's no other way to put it. They will not give me back my $260 that I paid them because they need a "stamp" from the dealer I bought my car from. Which is BS. Plus, my bf tried filing a claim because someone hit him and they said to just file the claim himself online.......... That's why I'm with Farmers now. Way better customer service than this piece of crap!
