Services are unclear due to websites confusing access along with non updated menu booklet. Consultation seemed rushed to get me in the spa.

Not relaxing. Both patrons and staff members were loud and talking on their phones in quiet areas. During my wait in the jacuzzi, cleaners began vacuuming. On top of that masseuse was 30 mins late.

I came to relax and it only stressed me out. By the 30 min mark, it was unacceptable and I wanted to leave asap.

Sad to see this spa go downhill. Came here in 2010 to get facials before.

I get my facials with April and she has taught me a lot about what I should eat and do to improve the health of my skin and body. My skin has improved significantly in just one month by following her suggestions.

As I read the reviews about them being pushy on selling products, I can see 'why', however I would also need to say the products do work. Maybe it's their method of approach. However, I didn't get too bothered by their ways. At the end of the day, their a "business", their job is to sell service and products. You can always say "no".

The facility is evidently getting old, however I can see their maintaining and cleaning. I would hope they would start putting some effort and funds into updating and renovating though. It's been 18 years I believe since they opened, it's time to update.

This is my go to spa when traveling to the San Gabriel Valley. A Professional Staff greats you for checking in. Upon entering the women's locker, sauna and jacuzzi area, Lily will great you with hot tea and/or water. She is a pure energetic treat! I have had various massages that were incredible!! As a Chronic Neck & Back suffer, the various Eastern Type Massages that they offer are a welcome relief from the traditional limited options you will find at other establishments. The cupping massage utilizes a cupping machine that, from, head to toe (in my case, neck to toe, works out knots, improves circulation and oxygen throughout the body (this would be a easy definition of the term used in Chinese Medicine as "meridians")
I have been to this spa over 10 times and have never felt out of place or pressured to purchase any services other than those I have requested.

I was so relaxed after my session I had to wait a whole day before I wrote a review. I just wanted to law there lol. So, I've been here twice so far and I absolutely loved every second of it. I would spend all day here if I could. The first time around I was able to get a full body scrub down. It's a little rough. But it's EXACTLY what I needed and wanted.
2nd time was sooo great. Facial and deep tissue were fantastic! I could not have been happier. I highly recommend. The prices are reasonable as well !

client always need to check your account, keep receipts, as their computers might lose all your information and then ask customers to prove your membership. Even though it's their inability to find records, they still require customers to prove how much money you paid, or you lost your membership.

Me and my coworker first came here we both called off work! To enjoy a beautiful spa day and let me tell you we practically had the whole spa to ourselves. We got massages, relaxed in the salt room and steam room. The jacuzzi wasn't working at the time. But we spent our whole day just unwinding. They even gave us complimentary teas. We're definitely coming back here. Entrance fee is 50.00 it's a nice and clean place.

Many better massage spas available, save your money.

I called in and asked the price for a couples massage and they quoted me a price of $125. That's a standard price for a couples massage. I went in for service and the spa was empty and bare bones, and the massage was solid. However, after services they insisted that the price they quoted was for one massage and not two. I don't know about you, but I hate when businesses do these kind of deceptive bait and switch practices. Tells me all I need to know about them. If they're reading this, know you can't get away with that kind of stuff. People will talk. Your spa is empty because you do dishonest stuff like this. The people were very friendly but management needs to stop being so deceptive.

Took my wife here for her birthday. Very friendly staff. When using the spa, just be forewarned that you go in topless. The spa provides disposable bottoms but no top for women. The massage was great and relaxing. However, the old, outdated, unmatched furniture made it hard to relax. Especially in the quiet room. It had us wondering how old the furniture was? And, how many people had sat on it before us. I'm not too sure we will go back.

According to a medical doctor Mitchell Gaynor, "There's no organ system in the body is not affected by sound, music and vibration." With this in mind, I tried the wooden hammer therapy at Ann Karen Spa. I was first greeted by a group of professionals that were friendly and ready to provide relief to my body. I met Annie, a professional massage therapist who provides the wooden hammer therapy. She is kind and caring, providing explanation of what is done throughout the process. I learned so much about acupressure points and traditional Chinese medicine from her. Using a combination of a wooden stick and hammer, Annie works on my body and face. She rhythmically uses the wooden hammer to provide percussion as a form of therapy to relax and heal my body by clearing the stagnation in my tendons and muscles. During the treatment, I can feel the wave of relaxation and relief that my body was experiencing. The sound of the wooden hammer combined with the percussion across my body enhanced my circulation and realigned my body's pathway. The wooden hammer created a wonderful melody but also a sensation of vibration that is felt throughout my body. I was the most surprised at the effect it had on my face. It instantly lifted my face and provide rejuvenation after the treatment. It is a treatment that is both sonic and bodily. This treatment combined manual pressure, stretching and the deep vibration and sound that is created by the wooden instrument. Annie explains that this form of massage is an ancient practice that enables life energy to flow throughout the body and therefore improving alignment.
 
On top of that, Ann Karen Spa was beautifully decorated with many relaxation spaces. They have a heated pool, a steam room, a Himalayan salt room, a mug room, and more. You can spend your entire day there and leave feeling refreshed and an entirely new person!  I cannot recommend Ann Karen Spa enough!!
