I was driving around trying to locate this location for about 4 hours. I called about 5 times and spoke with two different people. Both said they were located on the Northside of the street in a brick building. I finally went in and this was the place I was looking for the whole time. They are located on the Southside of the street in a grey building.

If yelp allowed negative numbers I wouldn't have even graced them with a 1 Star! Horrible management company, rented a home and this was the most unprofessional agency to deal with. They never answered the phone, blew off emails and had to remind them of renter laws and rights constantly. I am so thankful I found a home to buy and will never have to deal with loser management companies again.

Peter Wang of Ludecke has been sending me unwanted offers to buy my home. "Cash for your property" I went to his office and tore-up the letter right in front of his face, but he keeps sending me letters "cash for your property" Peter, please stop harassing me- you will never have this listing. Not you or anyone else at Century 21!

11/1/15 Peter Wang continues to send me unwanted offers to list my home. He tricks me into opening the envelope by hand writing my name and doesn't show a return address (Ludecke) but I have learned to recognize his childish handwriting. It goes straight to the paper shredder.

4/23/16 Peter Wang continues to send me unwanted junk in the mail. I don't think he or anyone else at Ludecke reads these reviews. It goes straight to the paper shredder.

They pushed us to A-One Escrow, which is owned or managed, in some part, by Michael Ludeke. I'm extremely unhappy with the way A-One handled the escrow and the poor treatment I received from them after escrow closed. I didn't get my closing documents, final statement and they made a mistake on my 1099. They refused to fix anything, wouldn't send me copies of the stuff I never received without paying them $35.00 and were simply assholes when I tried to communicate with them.

Lesson learned, don't just accept the escrow company refered by your agent. It's usually quid pro quo or, as in this case, your broker has a financial interest in the escrow company.

I have no idea what their services are like when it comes to purchasing a home but I am renting one from them and their service is very poor. The rental is slightly less than $3000 a month.
It takes days and sometimes over a week to get a response when I have a problem with the house (problems that are not created by me). Once calls/texts are returned work is not scheduled or done in a timely manner. In October 2015 a problem with a leak and resulting mold reached a climax and work finally began because the house had begun to smell. I am typing this review in the first week of January 2016, the work is still not finished. Largely because after days of silence I get text messages like "we will be there tomorrow at 10:00 am". No coordination, no consideration.
From Carlos their "maintenance" worker up to his supervisor, the service received has been awful. We were warned prior to renting. The house was so nice that we risked it. At this point I am sorry that I did.

I recently purchased a condo in the Pasadena area with the help of possibly one of the best real estate agents I have ever had the chance to meet, Young Ahn.

The condo I was interested in purchasing was a short sale so the buying process was tedious, drawn out and complicated. However I would never have made it through without Young's help. Young's tremendous knowledge of the area and the business in general helped turn a nightmare process into a manageable and relatively smooth operation. Her ability to work with the bank which owned the property as well as the seller's agent (who benefited from Young's guidance throughout the process) was instrumental in getting all of the involved parties on the same page to execute the sale.

A good real estate agent is worth her weight in gold and that is clearly the case with Young. Not only does she possess the requisite knowledge to be a great real estate agent, she understands the process from all sides and is able to effectively communicate with those involved in the process.

Additionally, she was able to help me find the right lender to secure my mortgage. Even when complications arose in the lending process, she was able to find the right lender for my situation and helped me secure a great loan at a great rate at a time when lending restrictions have become extremely cumbersome.

I honestly could not think of another real estate agent that I would ever recommend aside from Young. As someone who was going through this process for the first time I expected to be baffled/confused/frustrated/annoyed/etc., but she guided me through the process and helped explain the most complicated of details to put my mind at ease and assuage any fears or doubts I may have had. If you're looking for a real estate agent that will care about you and your hopes of finding a home that's right for you, do not look any further than Young.

Too bad the scale rating doesn't go in reverse. By far the most unethical and unscrupulous business that I have ever dealt with. Be warned to also stay away from their affiliate company...A1 Escrow. They made my home buying experience a total nightmare. Mike Trella the agent, accepted gifts from the seller and was very poor at negotiating for me as the buyer...hummmm I wonder why. I fired him and had Mike Ludecke, the broker take over. Things went from bad to worse. These people are so incompetent, it is truly sad. How can a real estate agent get lost going to the house that they are representing in a sale? It happened with this company. In addition, they were not on time when it came to promised dates to close escrow and made poor excuses as to why. Even worse, they blame other people for their own mistakes and do not own up to their unprofessional behavior and poor business practices. Steer clear from them and A-1 escrow.

Promises were made at the beginning that were not kept, brochures were never offered or created to help sell the house even after we asked for them. The house was supposed to be sold for over $600k. Also, rudeness was apparent. In an email that I received AFTER the "sale" of my home "What part of..... do you not understand???"... "sorry for your disappointment, but please do not talk nonsense to me...". "The reality is that your friends (realtors) do not know what they are talking about"..." .. to sell higher than yours was your neighbor across the street, and it was a much better house than yours." Judgmental, rude and not helpful.

Carlos, one of the minions at this office, makes you think that if you jump through all of the ridiculous hoops that are set forth by the millionaire "boss" he works for, you will get in a place. NOT SO. You can clear your credit, write an ass kissing note and kill your dog...but you still don't live up to their elitist standards. The worst part is that the credit clearing was simple little bullshit that doesn't mean dick in life or your life history. Second worst is that the 2 places we looked at were fucking DIVES!! "The Boss"...OMG. So we came in one morning when he was supposedly "rallying the troupes" and he sounded like the biggest fucking douche ever. He ignored us completely and made us feel like we were an inconvenience while fully reaming his Stepford Wive followers. Srsly. Blank stares and Beatles-like fandom dumb looks on their faces. Carlos may be a nice guy but he is too busy giving the boss a BJ to ever give really great, hard working middle class folks a chance. Avoid this place like the plague. Everything they say about Arcadia is full-on true. RUN.
