George R Brown CPA

We have been using George R. Brown for several years to do our taxes.
His incomparable knowledge and dry humor and wit have added much to filing our dreaded taxes.
He is honest and a man of his word, diligent in seeing things are done properly. The added convenience of his making home calls to collect our information is an added bonus. We highly recommend George and his staff.

Calling George.....one ring.....this is George.

In five minutes he told me what to do to prepare for him. I had a few things to get organized and then he made it super easy.

The day of our meeting. He shows up to the house and the job gets done at my kitchen table while I am in my pajamas and drinking my morning coffee. He asks questions and fills out paperwork while I relax. That day he sent me a PDF of the prepared return and instructions about what money to send to who with dates and documentation. I was so happy to have everything taken care of with no stress.

He is not the person to go to if you are trying to get as much money back as possible, he is the person you go to if you want to sleep soundly at night knowing your taxes were prepared with competence and detailed accuracy.

I think George is a very interesting and funny personality with his dry sense of humor as my "bean counter". I feel confident he will keep me out of trouble with the IRS and make sure I am ahead of the game and there are no surprises up the road.

Did I mention he came out to my house on April 14th like it was no big deal.....way to wait until the last minute, Kevin....LOL

He isn't lying when he'll call you back ASAP. Usually it just takes one ring to get to him. He loves his clients and makes every effort to make sure they're completely satisfied.

I had a messed up situation with a lot of random things going on. George came to my place and helped us big time. Within few days everything was done clean and quick! Thank you very much George...I'll be calling you again for sure!

I felt like he was pushing us too much in a direction that I felt uncomfortable with. When I said "I don't want to increase my audit risk" he said " I will deal with the IRS "! It was almost as if he enjoys that challenge with the IRS but I did not want to be part of that.
When I had questions he never gave me a straight answer, he would send me articles or Paragraphs of tax laws, which drove me insane since I am paying him for advice and I don't understand the tax terminology!

He is very punctual and friendly!
