Max's Mexican Cuisine

The service was great, but the food was served room temperature.... as usual... we always have to send it back to be put in the microwave. The plates are hot, but the food is cold? ‐-------------------

This restaurant allows the trashiest patrons. We've been here multiple times over the years and for some reason the last two times we've run into other customers who are just trashy. Cursing and talking about things that are just terrible around children. And is you politely ask them to stop they harass you and try to start a fight. So then we bring it to the staffs attention and they apologize and tell us there nothing they can do because they don't have support from management. So they give us a managers phone number whose mail box is full. So moral of the story is this isn't a family restaurant....even though it appears to be, it's not!!! No children please!!!!

use to enjoy going to max's but not anymore. now no happy hour even though their menu says happy hour from 4-7. when we had a large group they would let us have separate checks, not anymore and our server was very rude and not helpful. not going back.

When I received my meal I asked for more sour cream the waitress forgot and when she came by my table she was oh sour cream right did you still want it I said yes . When she returned to my table I didn't realize that she brought cream cheese instead of sour cream when I pushed my dish aside because I had put it all over she asked is everything ok . I told her no I was brought cream cheese instead of sour cream and it ruined my food . The waitress said no that's sour cream I said no I know the difference she took my plate away and yet has to apologize for it or even make it right this is why I am leaving this review .. and I don't like leaving reviews unless I can put a positive review ..

Cheated on bar tab. Four of us went to eat at Max's. We ordered 4 Cadillac margaritas with a specific tequila. The 4 drinks cost $68.00. When the waitress left the table, my friend said he got cheated at this place before when the bartender charged for premium tequila but poured house tequila. I walked over toward the bar and watched the bartender make the drinks. I caught him using the low cost house tequila and confronted him. He said "oops" and tried to top off the drinks with premium, right on front of me. I called "BS" and told him to make them correctly, which he did. Once I got back to the table I called over the manager and told him what happened and asked him what he was going to do. You could tell by his attitude that this was common practice. We ended up getting charged with no comp for the scam. On the way out I told the manager that I would be writing a nasty, honest review so that other people would know what to expect. He did not say anything, which confirmed to me that they do this all of the time. They make a lot of money of the bar tab. More if the charge for premium. There is no justification for then to make extra money on premium and give their customers low quality. I will never go this place a single dollar of my money again. Snakes.

So hungry an so disappointed Menudo was like canned, my fish tacos were too salty an mushy, rice an beans were not good, sorry wont be back

A few co workers and I came here to celebrate a birthday. There was music playing and tvs were on. We were seated in the main dining area. We were having a good time and laughing. A waitress came over and told us we were being too loud and a couple complained. We immediately felt super uncomfortable. We asked to speak to the manager who didn't know how to handle the situation properly. Food was okay. My co worker found a hair in her food before the incident . They replaced it. I only recommend coming here if you want to eat your food in silence. Or go to the Azusa location instead. It's better!

Quite literally one of the worst experiences I've had with Mexican food. Our food was out to us no more than 5 minutes after we ordered it, my taquitos were clearly reheated and completely flavorless. Paying $20 for a plate that is almost inedible is insane. Go anywhere else.

FOOD POISONING-AGAIN!
Came with my mom to give it another try, my mom had food poisoning a while ago from this location. We ordered chicken flautas and taquitos. Within hours we were both miserably sick and days to recover. 0/5

needs no star. just received a delivery order. all nasty. I ordered a Maguey burrito advertised as bean,rice.lettuce,tomatoes and cilantro. described as no meat and it came full beef. mush bean and rice and no lettuce and tomato. was $21.00. ended in the trash. called restaraunt and man said. you have to choose your meat all burritos come with meat. tried 4 times telling him the description on their menu. and he just kept saying the same thing. finally hung up. was missing a taco. and none of the sauces we ordered came with the order. and we got a watery nasty tasting salsa. everting disgusted. spent $85.dollars and 3/4 was thrown in the trash.
